Time Travelers Ball
COME ONE! COME ALL!
To the TIME TRAVELERS BALL!
When: Friday November 20th, at 10 PM
Where: The Grand Ballroom of the Doubletree at Cherry Hill
Why: Celebrating Philcon’s 90th Anniversary is no small feat!
And this year, we’re also hosting the 1632 MiniCon at Philcon,
for fans of the mega-popular 1632 time-travel books!
What to Wear: As the theme is Time Travel, you may wear whatever you wish! We encourage participants to bring out formal wear from any time period for any occasion, so long as it is comfortable to dance in! (A reminder: In the early 2000’s, jeans and a t-shirt were considered formal gala wear by several prominent cultural celebrities! Wear comfortable shoes!)
At 10 pm, our Ball opens with internationally renowned dance historian and teacher Susan de Guardiola leading the crowd through a dizzying array of dances from the 1630’s through the 2130’s. Experience not required, participation encouraged!

This event is free to attend with registration for Philcon.
