Hello everyone! Welcome to the Gaming Gallery for Philcon 2025.
Philcon 2025 will be an in person convention beginning on Friday, November 21 and ending on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
The Gaming Gallery is the room off the main lobby, next to the hotel bar and elevator banks.
- Please sanitize hands before playing a game.
- Please wear a mask in crowds or close up.
- Please be aware of social distancing.
In addition to open gaming, there are a number of exciting scheduled games and RPGs this year. You can enjoy relaxing and gaming with others in the Philcon Gaming Gallery. A large variety of assorted board and card games are available to play. Play our games or bring your own favorites and find someone to play along. Hang out, play and chat with other gamers. Learn a game, teach a game, share a game. We are always open to new ideas. Your input and involvement is appreciated!

RPG Call of Cthulhu – The Dead Light Friday 7pm to 11pm
A strange woman appears out of nowhere as odd events begin to take place at a 1920’s diner. A small group of travelers have come across some otherworldly horror that is stalking the surrounding forest. Can you survive the night? Pre generated characters will be used and supplied along with dice and all necessary materials. Ages: 16+ Number of players: 2 to 6 (pre-generated characters). GM: Tom Melanson.
RPG Dune – Wheels Within Wheels Friday 7pm to 11pm
A century before the birth of Paul Atreides, Arrakis is under the government of House Richese. The spice is flowing and the planet seems to be at peace, but Count Kerim Richese is troubled by rumors of unrest and the whispers of his Bene Gesserit advisor. Your Minor House, in service to the Count, has sent you to investigate. Number of players: 3 to 5. GM: Jon Zeigler. Pre-generated characters, no RPG experience needed, just be a Dune fan and be ready to solve mysteries! Game system: Dune – Adventures in the Imperium.
RPG Traveller – Death Station Friday 8pm to Midnight
High above a backwater world, the laboratory ship Calendula has gone silent. Believing it nothing more than a downed transmitter, the Travellers are sent to investigate. Inside they discover a grisly scene of corporate espionage, illegal medical experiments, betrayal, and murder. Worse yet, they are not alone. The only thing worse than the Calendula’s dead are the Calendula’s living… and they are hungry. This adventure will be run using the Mongoose Traveller, 2nd Edition rules. No prior experience with the Traveller rules (of any edition) or the Charted Space setting are required. Necessary rules will be taught, and pre-generated characters will be provided. Number of players: 3 to 5 (pre-generated characters). GM: Mike Ryan.
Blood On The Clocktower Friday 9pm to 11pm
A demon is hiding amongst the villagers of this village. But they are not acting alone. Will the good villagers be able to find the demon and stop them, or will evil prevail in this critically acclaimed social deduction game? Each player will have a special role and allegiance to either the evil team or the good team. In a series of day and night phases, the players will try to suss out who is really evil and who is good. Blood on the Clock Tower is often touted as the evolution of werewolf/mafia. If you enjoy social deduction or hidden role games, come experience the best the genre has to offer. Game Runner: Dragonbear Players: 5-15 Time: 1.5-2hrs
RPG Savage Worlds: Deadlands-The Dark Mine of Tehuan Saturday 10am to 2pm
A train ride through the old West has more than train robbers and Indian legends to deal with. A dark ritual has been unleashed and you are the right cowpokes in the wrong place to deal with it. Pre-generated characters will be used and all supplies needed are provided. Ages 13 and up preferred but can be modified as needed. Number of players: 3 to 6 (pre-generated characters). GM: Tom Melanson.
RPG TrashSexy: The Rowdy Raccoon [age 18+] Saturday 10am to Noon
You’re a raccoon. You collect Trash and desired shinies, and you are Sexy! You’re on a mission, and you have trouble to get into. Navigate through a series of environments from the mean streets to the deep woods – searching for a prized item almost lost to raccoon memory. Come play the rowdy raccoon story game by John Harford/Fox and Boar Games (who is running it). Grab one of the five pre-generated Racconicatures and jump right in for mischief and mayhem. This is a very rules light and quick playing rpg. Run by game author and designer John Harford of Fox and Boar Games. Number of players: 2 to 5 (pre-generated characters). GM: John Harford.
RPG Traveller – Ghost Ship Saturday Noon to 4pm
The crew of a freelance trader find what appears to be an abandoned spaceship adrift on the edge of a remote star system. Salvage is valuable so they decide to board and investigate. What will they find? This adventure will be run using the Mongoose Traveller, 2nd Edition rules. No prior experience with the Traveller rules (of any edition) is required. Necessary rules will be taught, and pre-generated characters will be provided. Number of players: 3 to 5 (pre-generated characters). GM: Mark Singer.
RPG ShadowWest – Shades of Hellhound Trail [age 18+] Saturday Noon to 2pm
The mining village of Hellhound has been nearly empty years. So why did Murdock T. Fitzsimons, one of the company’s top Skycallers, become so insistent that something of great value would be found there? Your gang has been dispatched to investigate the mines and bring Fitzsimons back safe and sound. The new ShadowWest RPG brings you weird west dark fantasy action using the fast and easy ShadowDark rules. Step into a whole new world where powerful meteoric ore falls from the sky, the sun sets for days at a time, and dark terrors lurk beneath your feet. Unique characters such as the Holy Roller, Gunslinger, Scout and Mystic will be provided. This game is beginner-friendly and rules will be taught. It is run by author and designer John Harford of Fox and Boar Games. Number of players: 2 to 5 (pre-generated characters). GM: John Harford.
RPG: Dread – Magpie. Saturday 3pm to 6pm
Camping in the Outback seemed like a great High School Senior trip at the time…
Dread uses a Jenga block game tower to resolve actions and is perfect for a one shot game. Rules will be taught. Ages: TBD; beginners welcome! Number of players: TBD. GM: Tom Melanson.
Team Ticket To Ride Saturday 4pm to 6pm
Play Ticket to Ride like you’ve never played it before, with a teammate and kaiju monsters! Ticket to Ride Asia facilitates play with two or three teams of two players as you try to assert your railroad dominance across the continent. Share cards and work together while building your routes and try to avoid the alien and monster destroying cities across the board, or better yet, send those city destroyers to mess with the other teams plans. Game Runner: Dragonbear (Asia Map w. Alvin & Dexter) Players 4-6 Time: 1-1.5hrs
RPG Star Trek – All the Difference Saturday 6pm to 10pm
The USS Cerritos is called in when a mysterious ship arrives from an alternate universe. Can the Warp Drive Five survive a high-stakes mission in support of a crew of very unusual Vulcans, deep into Romulan space? Number of players: 3 to 5. GM: Jon Zeigler. Pre-generated characters, no RPG experience needed, just be a Star Trek fan and be ready to have fun! Game system: Star Trek Adventures (second edition).
RPG Runequest – The Broken Tower Saturday 7pm to 11pm
Cattle raiding is not unusual among the tribes of Sartar, but there are customs to be observed, lines that should not be crossed. When the Greydog clan made off with three score Ernaldori cattle and murdered their tenders, a line was crossed. The clan-chief’s wife has sent the clan’s most able-bodied allies to recover the cattle and enact retribution. This adventure will be run using “RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha” rules. No prior experience with the RuneQuest rules or Glorantha setting are required. Necessary rules will be taught and pre-generated characters will be provided. Number of players: 3 to 5 (pre-generated characters). GM: Mike Ryan.
RPG Call of Cthulhu: The Wrath of Khatadin Saturday 7pm to 11pm
There has always been some friction between the Opee Indian reservation and the paper mill plant. Now that a pair of loggers have gone missing the fingers are pointing to the Opee. Is it angry spirits or something more earthly that has stirred up trouble? Pre-generated characters will be provided along with all tools needed to play. Ages 13 and up preferred but will be modified as needed. Number of players: 4 to 6 (pre-generated characters). GM: Tom Melanson.
RPG: Dread – Moonlight Madness Sunday 10am to 1pm
The Grand Canyon is a beautiful work of nature, but what happens when things get a bit unnatural?
Dread uses a Jenga block game tower to resolve actions and is perfect for a one shot game. Rules will be taught. Ages: TBD; beginners welcome! Number of players: TBD. GM: Tom Melanson.
