Nj Transit Train to Atlantic City

The NJ Transit Atlantic City Line departs from 30th Street Station in Philadelphia every hour and twenty minutes. The trip takes approximately 25 minutes. Exit the train at the first stop (Cherry Hill). The station is about one-half mile east of the hotel, which is visible from the train station. Taxis are often available in a queue near the station. If not, the number to call to get a taxi is posted at the station.

If you choose to walk, Google Maps (Google Maps walking directions and map) estimates the distance as 0.8 miles. Please be careful as part of the walk is beside a major highway.

NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line from New York City and Northern New Jersey

Take the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor train to the Trenton Transportation Center. Exit the station and turn left. Go to the corner, cross the street and board the River Line light rail next to the parking lot. Take the River Line to the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden. Transfer to the 406 NJ Transit bus, which stops in front of the Crowne Plaze Hotel in Cherry Hill.

Alternatively, for an all-train route, remain on the Northeast Corridor Train until 30th street station, then take the NJ Transit Train to Atlantic City and follow the directions above.

Amtrak

Amtrak arrives in Philadelphia at 30th Street Station. From this point there are several ways to get to Philcon:

• NJ Transit Train – Take the ramp at the 30th street end of the Station to the local trains on the upper level. Take the NJ Transit train to Atlantic City and follow the directions above.
  
  
• SEPTA train/NJT 406 bus – Take the ramp at the 30th street end of the floor to the local trains on the upper level. Use your Amtrak ticket on a local SEPTA train to the Market East Station. Then catch the NJT 406 bus as described above.
  
  
• Rapid Rover shuttle – You must make reservations in advance for the shuttle (call 1-800-322-8062), preferably at least 48 hours in advance, and mention that your destination is a hotel. Also please inform them if you are traveling with children under age 8 or weighing less than 80 pounds so that car seats will be ready.
  
  Rapid Rover requests that you call to let them know you will be arriving soon when you are about 20 minutes from Philladelphia (this would be when you reach Trenton if coming from the north, or Wilmington if coming from the south). After arriving at the station, call them again from the main concourse. The fare is $50.00 for 1-3 people.
  
  

Patco

Patco trains depart from the underground concourse in Center City. Get off at the Collingswood station. Taxis are usually available at this station. If no taxis are present, you can call the Crown Plaza Conciege at 1-856-665-6666 (ask for the Concierge Desk).The Concierge will call a taxi for you.

By Bus

The NJ Transit 409 bus goes from Philadelphia directly to the hotel. Catch the bus at any of the stops along East Market Street. The travel time is about 55 minutes. A pdf schedule for the 406 bus is available at: http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/bus/T0406.pdf

If you are coming to Philadelphia by bus, the Greyhound Station is at 10th & Filbert Streets.
When you arrive, proceed via the NJT 409 bus as described above.

By Car

From the North:

• Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to exit 7A.
• At exit 7A, get onto I-195 West.
• Take I-195 about 7 miles to exit 2, I-295 South.
• Take I-295 South about 25 miles to exit 34B, Rt 70 West.
• Take Rte 70 West about 4.3 miles to Cuthbert Rd.
• Use the overpass clover leaf ramps (S. Cuthbert Road and then Rte. 70 East) to make a U-turn onto Rte 70 East.
• Enter the Crowne Plaza Hotel parking.

From the South:

• Take I-95 North.
• In Delaware, take the I-295 exit toward New Jersey and the Delaware
  Memorial Bridge.
• After crossing the Delaware Memorial Bridge, get onto I-295 North.
• Take I-295 North about 34 miles to exit 34B, Rte 70 West.
• Take Rte 70 West about 4.3 miles to Cuthbert Rd.
• Use the overpass clover leaf ramps to make a U-turn onto Rte 70 East.
• Enter the Crowne Plaza Hotel parking.

From the West:

• Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-76 East.
• Take exit 326 to continue on I-76 to Philadelphia.
• After about 18 miles, use the left-of-center lane to exit onto I-676
  East, the Vine St Expy.
• After about 1.6 miles, exit and follow the signs for the Ben Franklin
  Bridge.
• Follow the “From Philadelphia” instructions.

From Philadelphia:

• Cross the Ben Franklin Bridge.
• Follow the signs for US-30 East.
• After about 3 miles, approaching US-130, stay to the left and follow
  the signs for Rte 38-70 East. Take the overpass.
• After taking the overpass onto Rte 38-70 East, stay to the right to Rte
  70 East. You will have about 1/4 mile to merge far enough to the right.
• After about 1.2 miles, pass under the Cuthbert Rd. overpass.
• Enter the Crowne Plaza Hotel parking.

From the Philadelphia Airport

Rapid Rover shuttle

Metro Rapid Rover: 856-428-1500, www.rapidrover.com

Rapid Rover users must reserve in advance, preferably at least 48 hours, at 1-800-322-8062, and must note that the destination is a hotel. Once you have arrived at baggage claim, use the telephones (dial 21) (or counter, if staffed) to call Rapid Rover for a shared-ride van.

Fare (to a hotel) is $24.00/person; children under 12 are $12/child. Please mention any children who are under 8 or weigh less than 80 pounds so car and booster seats can be provided. Approximate travel time 30 minutes.

Septa Regional Rail Line R1 (Airport Line)

The R1 line goes from the Airport to Center City Philadelphia. You can get off at 30th Street Station and follow the directions from there in "By Train" above, or go on to the Market East Station where you can either transfer to the Patco line (see "Patco" in the "By Train" section) or go to the street and catch the 406 Bus (see "By Bus).
